'Grammar Puzzles' is a book of 150 texts and exercises, full of useful information and interesting facts. Every text is on a different topic and every exercise consists of five grammar puzzles.
The puzzles are made up of one or two sentences in a number of pieces, much like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. The challenge is to put all the pieces into the right order, so the sentences they form make sense and are grammatically correct!
'Grammar Puzzles' is for:
B1 (Intermediate), and B2 (Upper Intermediate) level students, learning or revising English as a second language (ESL). International students doing courses in subjects other than English at universities in the UK. Native English speakers at school, and pupils who use English as an additional language (EAL). Speakers of other languages, who are learning or revising English (ESOL). English teachers, who can use the texts and exercises as supplementary material in their classes.
John Langridge taught students from more than 70 countries at three schools in the UK and two universities in France. He is also the author of 'All About Us! 150 Vocabulary Exercises for school, for home, and for fun!'
