Coyote

In the canyons of the Southwest, the Akote welcome Francis Meavy, a white trader, into their tribe. Meanwhile, the invading US is encroaching on their land... Coyote, the trickster deity, observes one indigenous family over the course of three generations as they come to terms with the emotional inheritance of culture and race, and what it means to be a son, husband, and father in times of war.
