When a gory slasher film from the sixties makes a controversial comeback, a killer takes up the lead character's mantle. Dark murderous scenes are carried out in real life, and DCI Macleod is called to lead the manhunt for the celluloid butcher. But when the final scene calls for the death of the main investigator, can Macleod find his man before his own life is taken?
