AUTHOR: Stephen Carter was born near the Sandhurst Military College in England and has studied military history since an early age. After thirty-five years in the Sealed Knot, he rose from a musketeer to become commander a regiment. In 2005, the author organised a series of events that recreated the Monmouth Rebellion, with the Battles fought on the original sites, and on the historic dates. Since then he has written about Monmouth, and regularly commentates at period re-enactment event. He has been researching the Life and Times of Monmouth, and regularly publishes his finding on Twitter as @Warwalks.
