Every great man nowadays has his disciples, and it is always Judas who writes the biography. – Oscar Wilde
Some believe the Messiah will return to rapture the saintly and condemn sinners to Hell.
Others believe He will return with love and forgiveness for all.
Asher Delacroix believes that He has already come and gone again (several times) with almost nobody noticing at all.
Asher needs parental guidance, but can’t see any in his polyamorous, pansexual father and violent, institutionalized mother. He instead turns to a group he comes to believe may be a cult with dangerous aims.
Among the group is Marlena, with whom Asher falls in love even as she shares love freely with the group’s other members. The day his father joins the group, and - like Marlena - begins to spread his love freely, Asher realizes that he’s taken on more than he can handle. Chaos now rules his existence.
Is this group a cult? What are their goals? How did they choose Asher? How did his odd lineage play into his predicament?
And what is he to do about it all?
Despite all this, Sins of the Son is a comedy.
