This story begins in the year of 1665 on an island forgotten to time and tells the tale of Richard Forsyth; a story of love, loss and revenge between devils and angels.

This book charts the journey of how Richard, a man once so gentle and pure became the most feared pirate on the seven seas. Battling with the renowned Captain Firebeard and making deals that would cost him more than mere gold.

He was a man who had it all, family, friends, good standing and a wife by his side, but it was all taken from him by another, not once, but twice and without reason. His strength lasted him only so long, his desire for revenge consumed him and sent him to a life at sea, a life so different from the one he had led.

He would find friendship and affection on his journey but he knew where his fate lay and wasn't going to let emotion distract him from his mission. He needed to write the wrongs, to make the devils feel the fire that they had lit.

Along the way Richard has many choices to make as he seeks his ultimate goal, but what exactly will they cost, and to where will they lead??
