This catalogue celebrates Dr. Martin Eidelberg's donation of European art pottery to the Saint Louis Art Museum

This beautiful book begins with an introduction to European art pottery between 1880 and 1914, followed by a plate section featuring the gifted works grouped by country of origin. Each group starts with a brief prologue describing pottery production in that region around the turn of the twentieth century. Also included is a ceramic marks reference section and a selected bibliography.
