I Sing of Love, for double choir, is based on three texts from different religious traditions united by the theme of love: an extract from the Song of Solomon, a devotional poem by the Islamic mystic Rumi and Christian verses from the New Testament. These three passages are separated by three meditative sections using simply the words 'I sing of love' repeated as a mantra. I Sing of Love was commissioned by the Seattle Pro Musica.
