Brad I’m a cop, which means people don’t always see me in the best of lights. I may never have been the most committed of men, but I am responsible. Well… I have responsibilities, which is nearly the same thing, right? And it’s that sense of responsibility that makes me want to help the girl I find cowering in a shop doorway. She looks scared and lost, like she doesn’t belong there. But because I’m a cop I don’t expect her to run at the sight of me, clearly scared stiff.
