Far out in space, many light years’ distance from Earth, is Sirius the Dog Star - found in the constellation Canis Major. Probes and radio signals have been sent for some time from Earth, searching space for signs of life, but so far none has been found, nor wished to be found. Hidden away within the orbit of Sirius the Dog Star are two planets and two rival races: the Usaurians and the Voraks. After a series of cataclysmic events, the planet Usaurius is rendered inhospitable and its people are forced to find a new planet to preserve their civilisation. When Benon, a restless youth from the Usaurian race, decides to visit Earth with a companion, the course of fate for Benon, the Usaurians and Earth itself is irreversibly changed.
