After all the trials and tribulations of Sandy's escapades, she has let go of her fear of meaningful relationships and has fallen in love with Shaun. For the first time in years after leaving her ex-husband Johnaton she has decided to introduce a man to her family. Although she is quite anxious, their relationship has grown; Sandy hopes that a marriage proposal is in the near future.

Sandy's friends have never met Shaun, they are just happy that she is happy. The fact that all her children like Shaun, they feel that she has finally grown up and has someone constructive and meaningful in her life. Sandy is nervous when she introduces Shaun to Joan as Joan almost exposes their plan of marriage and she quickly escorts Shaun away. She was happy when Caroline arrived with her fiance Patrick and happily introduced them to Shaun. The turn of events that happened during the introduction turns Sandy's world upside down.

You will go through the journey with Sandy as she goes through her different emotional stages of tears, drama, and sexual adventures.

This book is the sequel to 'The Therapist'.
