Thought Dreams: Radical Theory for the 21st Century

In Thought Dreams, Michael Albert responds to questions regarding how one may synthesize a variety of progressive theories - feminisms, Marxism, environmentalism, multiculturalism - to create a conceptual framework with which to comprehend the world and develop a vision for the future. Thought Dreams addresses questions of radical theory, vision, and strategy in an accessible question and answer format. It commences with Albert responding to the most basic of questions: What’s a theory? This provides the foundation for the subsequent building of a conceptual framework (with the bricks being the concepts such as class, race, sex, gender, etc.) in the processual project of constructing a perspective and strategy for building a better, more just, society.
