Interviews and Speeches

Yuan Tseh Lee may be passionate about scientific researches, but he does not enclose himself in the laboratory; instead, he is concerned about the influence of science on society. He often accepts interviews, gives speeches, expresses his views on such issues as science, sports, culture, social development, democracy and crossstraits reunification or independence issues openly and frankly. He analyzes social problems calmly, objectively and deeply from a distinguished natural scientist’s perspective, which doubtlessly is his other form of social contribution outside of scientific research and teaching.
