Fighting the Good Fight: One Family’s Struggle Against Adolescent Alcoholism

In a family of three boys, the youngest, a high school senior, began showing signs of alcoholism. They escalated, and he began to disintegrate scholastically and socially. His parents’ medical and psychiatric training didn’t make identifying or managing the problem any easier. After a series of failures, their tireless efforts brought their son to recognize his alcoholism and begin the struggle to reclaim his life.
