Archaeological Survey of the Lower Kennet Valley, Berkshire

Presenting the results of field surveys undertaken in 1976/77 & 1982-7 by Berkshire Archaeological Unit, and Wessex Archaeology in 1988/9, this volume reviews all chapters of occupation across the valley zones, and includes some discussion of methods put into practice on the project. Confirming considerable human impact on the region, this title points out the area’s potential for future exploration, and provides data useful for planning management strategies.
