Waiting in Expectation

For each day of the season of Advent, Monsignor Pollard offers a scripture quotation based on the liturgical readings for the day. This ensures that we start from the church’s understanding of Advent and its pastoral messages. The reading is then followed by a reflection on its meaning and message for us today, and this is followed naturally by a prayer. An activity in keeping with the spirit of the reflections, and of the season is suggested for each week of Advent.
