Moonlight streamed into the orchard through the gnarled apple trees creating weird shadows everywhere, but Lucy was too intent on watching the spectacle in front of her to bother about shadows. A ring of fairies, dancing in a circle with shimmering wings that glowed, laughed and chattered with the sound of tiny bells. Ever since she was very small, Lucy knew there was something special about her garden and that if she just dreamed hard enough the fairies would appear to her. One night a hole appears in the garden wall, which leads Lucy to the magic land beyond. Here she is introduced to Paladin, the most powerful wizard of all. Paladin grants Lucy her own magic powers, to be shared with her best friend Molly, enabling them to fly and talk with animals. So, with their new friend Rabooly, they set off to explore. But before they go, Paladin entrusts Lucy with a magical charm, one that will summon him to her should she ever be in danger. Little does she know that the evil Vendro wants that charm and wants it now! Vendro, the most evil wizard in the land, won’t let anything stop him getting that charm, especially two little girls. He quickly devises a plan to capture Lucy and Molly and steal that charm. Will Lucy and Molly ever get home? And will they learn to use their new powers before it’s too late?
