All is peaceful in the forest, until the approach of the farmer threatens the safety and stability of forest life. The critters have long been neighbors and acquaintances, but banding together to save their homes will require greater cooperation. Consensus as to a course of action is hard to come by and the critters begin to split into two opposing factions: Hob Pawpkorn the weasel leads his friends and allies, Boaris the squirrel and Leveret the hare, on what they see as the right path. But this path is often at odds with Old Tom the turkey and the army he forms with the rest of the forest critters to lay siege to the farm. Will Pawpkorn join with General Tom and his army, or will he be forced to fight an enemy from within as well as the farmer?
