The story that Alan tells is the story of his life in Africa. In this, the first of a 3-book series, Alan tells the story of his early life in Southern Rhodesia and how he came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour.

It concludes with his call into ministry and the ‘laying on of hands’ at an Easter Convention at his home Assembly in what was then Salisbury, in a country then known as Rhodesia.

The following two books will relate his experiences as a minister of the Gospel in Rhodesia, Zimbabwe-Rhodesia and finally Zimbabwe, before leaving Africa for the United Kingdom.
