The Snowman and the Sunshine In Switzerland

The Snowman and the Sunshine In Switzerland is a story of 8-year old Kira and her 5-year old brother Kai from Washington, DC, who along with their parents land in Geneva in the early hours of Christmas Eve. Oh! What fun they have that Christmas week in Switzerland, trudging along with a Christmas tree from the forest all the way home; and then decorating it with home made colored candles until wee hours of the morning. Taking a walk in the neighborhood, while gazing at the Advent Windows of the houses on both sides of the street, decorated with stars and candles were a novelty. Building a snowman; baking Christmas Cookies; and listening to the story of St. Nicholas their mother tells them were awesome. Visiting a Christmas Market seemed like a wonderland! Riding the train to Jungfrau: the rooftop of Europe was certainly thrilling!! But, what will remain unforgettable to Kira and Kai is the experience of stuffing their mouths with Melting Pot’s Flaming Turtle Chocolate for dessert!!!
