This book explores the Irish Greene's family history, where their very existence came into being by one family member. The Greene family have the roots in a Norman family who were known as the name of De Porhoet; the name De Porhoet can first be found around AD 750, however, their historical ancestral records date back as far as AD 68; in this case; we will begin our journey from AD 950, through to 1066 with the arrival of the De Porhoet family in 1066 when they invaded Britain in 1066, better known as the Battle of Hastings. After the early years of Wars Skirmishes and Battles across England, gradually there was some stability coming into play. About a century later Sir Alexander De Porhoet, De Boketon La Zouche, eventually settling on the name of De Greene; fast forward to 1650, then onwards and forward until 2022 and you'll see the complete story of how the Greene family ended up in Ireland in the first instance. This journey into Ireland with the Greene's family commences in 1650 onwards until 2022. Consideration has been given to each and every generation of the Greene's family, every person in this book being has been scrutinised in minute details. They have been thoroughly researched, all the way from 1160 until the 20th century. With a clear concise picture of who the Greene family were, and more importantly where they came from, or how they contributed to shaping the History of England, no stone has been left unturned. My focus has been on the English Greene's as well as the America, Irish and Welsh Greene family members. This is a journey like no other, as it explores in detail some interesting characters which typify how most families would have developed over the last 1000 years. I hope that you enjoy reading this book as much as I have in producing it.
