Rona had thought her divorce from Harry had been her rock bottom. Her greatest shame and failure in life.

But then, she met Peter. Drawn further into the partying lifestyle, Rona doesn't seem to notice just how much of her life is slipping out of her control. Until, thanks to Peter's questionable business practices, the ground beneath Rona's feet is firmly pulled out from under her.

Becoming Ordinary follows Rona's story in dual timelines as she is forced to confront her inner demons and overcome her addiction to alcohol.

As a past 'Ron' struggles to keep a handle on her drinking, and finally leave a controlling and manipulative Peter, present-day Rona is faced with a different set of problems. Despite reclaiming her life and finding her peace, present-day Peter has resurfaced from the shadows and is once again threatening to upend Rona's life.

If things weren't complicated enough, Rona also has to deal with the arrival of Arman - an old business rival of Peter's whose reputation for violence precedes him.

Will Rona's idyllic, ordinary life in Scotland be once again upended, or will the arrival of some new friends give her the strength and resources to finally banish Peter from her life for good?
