Pixie Folk Tales

They have have been loved and revered, avoided and feared and have become recognisable figures in folklore and pop culture. The tales of the pixies hold treasures that can help guide us through our relationship with the land. They call for care and kindness, and playful magical thinking. But be warned! This collection of traditional folk tales from Devon, Somerset and Cornwall brings together these mischievous and marvellous tales that have bee retold over generations. AUTHOR: Henry Everett is a storyteller, artist and writer, born and based on Dartmoor. He tells traditional tales in the oral storytelling tradition and his particular interest is in tales which speak of our relationship with the land. Henry has a BA Hons in Photography and is an exhibiting photographic artist as well a performing poet and a lantern tinsmith. He has previously led the design team and creative management for a Brighton-based chocolatier and appeared in all seven TV series on The Good Food Channel. 30 b/w illustrations
