Beach Assault

This publication profiles the main amphibious forces of the world, including their amphibious landing ships, landing craft, specialist amphibious armoured vehicles and amphibious assault helicopters. Famous amphibious forces and units will be profiled, including the US Marines, British Royal Marines, French Marine Infantry, Russian Naval Infantry and Chinese Marines. Amphibious tactics and operational procedures will be examined, to tell the story of how troops are put ashore on enemy held territory. The publication will look back at famous amphibious landings from World War Two, the Korean War, the Suez conflict, Vietnam, The Falklands, Gulf Wars, and more recent conflicts.
