Countless millions of years ago, when the land masses of planet Earth were still being formed, the earthquakes and volcanic eruptions helped form a huge valley that was sealed on all sides by impassable snow-capped mountains. A dense shower of meteorites from somewhere in the Galaxy, rocks that contained microscopic life, rained down on the valley and settled in the cooling magma.

Following the evolution of man, a tribe of nomads stumbled into the valley only to be imprisoned therein by further volcanic eruption.

This is the story of the development of the humans living in the valley, humans who survived on the plant life that had been contaminated by the meteorites, human species that evolved differently in the north and south of the valley, but also some life forms that were different from any other on the planet.
