In 1989, a 23-year-old rock climber fell to his eventual death. During the 28 minutes he was technically deceased and the subsequent month-long coma his body experienced, he went far beyond where 95 percent of near-death experiencers have reported going. He speaks of experiencing what he refers to as the "next dimension, with other dimensions beyond that" not once but multiple times in different contexts. Western cultures often refer to this next dimension as "Heaven." He relates that he overheard discussions regarding a project on Earth, how he argued with multiple entities on the other side of the veil in order to go back to live in his same deceased body, how he lived with extraterrestrials during his death process, how he spoke directly with a power he calls God, and the list goes on and on. Dr. Jan Holden, president of the International Association for Near-Death Studies ("IANDS") was contacted to speak with the rock climber about his death experience.
