In Pope Francis, Hero of Africa, Jerry Jumbam discusses the hostility of some people to Pope Francis (especially in Church circles) as a result of ignorance of the background of the Pope and of who he represents on a global scale. Jumbam explores the Pope’s underprivileged background and how his word and deed have pervasive influence on the similarly underprivileged people of the world.
