The Runaway Pancake

Dad's made a delicious-looking pancake and everyone wants some -- but the pancake has other ideas! It flips out of the pan and flies through the open door shouting: "No one's going to eat me, I'm far too fast. Catch me if you can!"

The cheeky runaway pancake meets many farmyard and forest animals as it makes its escape, but none of them are quick enough to catch it. Will anyone be able to eat the pancake?

This colourful and contemporary retelling of the classic tale features playful, rhythmic text from Tiny Fisscher, accompanied by bright, lively and diverse illustrations from Sophie Pluim.
