Who are the homeless? These are nameless, faceless people who live in shame, frustration, and regret which is reflected in their daily lives. Often society sees them as drug addicts, alcoholics, mentally ill, and unmotivated. Those factors can be found in those without shelter, yet that alone will not reflect the total sum of challenges which they have faced. This book is not intended to give you all the answers. If anything, this book is intended to share the complexity of the issue in our society. Rather, if it has any purpose, this book is intended to stir the hearts of people of compassionate nature and deep faith into action. There are many lessons to be learned taught by those who have lived without shelter.
