In this long awaited sequel to Extraordinary Times Good vs Evil we continue to follow the lives of Jesse's wife Marika, his mother Maria and most ardent follower Peter. Jesse has been betrayed by Eli, who turns him over to the jealous dictator Heinrich Mollen. In a fit of rage Mollen publicly executes Jesse as his followers and family watch. Peter rescues Maria and Marika from behind enemy lines and they make the perilous journey in a crowded refugee boat to the Promise land. Instead of the peace they hope to find, they enter a country in the throes of fighting for independence. Marika gives birth to Jesse's son JJ and devotes her life to protecting him from outside forces. Maria, despite being in poor health, chooses to remain by Marika's side for the birth of her only grandchild. Peter is a lost soul. He promised Jesse to lead the Believers and look after Maria and Marika and avenge his death. but struggles to find his way.. JJ, unaware of his parentage, rebels against the ideology of the Believers and Marika, because he feels she is over protective. What he learns as an adult turns his world around. This is a story of love, resilience and courage, all the while guided by the principles of "treat others as you want to be treated" and "forgive those who hurt you," .
