Stories From Thear is a collection of two short stories set in the same fantasy world of the planet Thear.

In "Ponderings of a Recently Retired Warrior", Andra is trying to help the civilian town of Ceepa, as the Elven and dragon battle draws closer. As she is the only one with warrior experience left in the town, the Mayor looks to her for advice.

"The Case at Jadestone Docks" is about Ebony, an Avian police officer, and how she solves her current case. Ebony has been working without a partner for a long time, but now her boss has assigned her George, a human who recently transferred to the unit.
