In a techno-capitalist world reliant on constant innovation and dominated by the tech giants, everything comes to a crashing halt. In 2099, a global EMP strike wipes out the grid, plunging society into chaos. Julian Hayes, a podcast host for the tech company Disrupt Tech, is in the middle of recording an episode when the world goes dark. Trapped with his producer Emma and their colleague Max in a city on the brink of collapse, they must navigate a Sydney now ruled by lawlessness, ruthless bushrangers, and a paramilitary force fighting for control.

With survival hanging by a thread, Julian and Emma salvage old radio technology and create a makeshift broadcast station-turning their voices into a flicker of hope for the lost and broken. But as they venture deeper into the ruins of civilization, they discover the true cost of survival and face the terrifying consequences of a world where humanity is struggling to hold on.
