Horatio Entwhistle and his friends are back for their most dangerous adventure yet.

While camping at Nan and Pop's, they're attacked by an angry man on a boat who warns them to stay away from Crystal Lake. But when their supplies are stolen and a mysterious 'No Trespassing' sign appears, the gang knows something's not right.

Wheels overhears a heated conversation about a nearby sand mine, and the friends discover a secret operation: Mr. Jones and his workers are dumping strange barrels into the mine. As they dig for answers, they find themselves caught in a web of danger and intrigue.
