A 15-Day devotional inspired by the book of Malachi.
Welcome to the Worship Desk. This is a place for us to meet together, in the presence of God. I pray both our hearts will be ready and aligned with He who calls us to raise our pens as swords and to write to the glory of God and for Kingdom purposes.
This is not a book necessarily on writing so much as it is an invitation to worship through the craft. It is an invitation to be inspired by Scripture and to surrender our plans to the One who knows the end from the beginning.
For the next fifteen days, you and I will explore what it means to write as worship and we will write as worship. I am holding my hand out to you, eager for you to join me on this pilgrimage. On this journey, we will encounter both Old Testament and New Testament writings. We will embrace the power of storytelling. Most importantly, we will open our hands in surrender and open our hearts in worship to the Lord of Heaven's Armies.
I will be here for encouragement when you need it-as will our guide, the prophet Malachi-but ultimately, writing as worship is bringing your heart and your hands to the Worship Desk and being open to what the Lord wants to do with them.
