It recalls the events of 29th May 1985 when Liverpool FC met Juventus FC in the 30th European Cup Final in Brussels, Belgium.
On that evening 39 people, mostly Italians, lost their lives in a violence-induced crush on crumbling terraces.
The book looks at the history of English football/hooliganism and the failed preparations which led to the disaster.
It dedicates time to the shocking behaviour which began in Brussels city centre in the afternoon and of course the events at the stadium.
It finishes with the consequences in the immediate aftermath of the disaster.
The book includes interviews with people who were in Brussels city centre and in the stadium that fateful evening.
