SUBSTITUTIONS is a clarion cry, short book, that says "Here are some new poems based on a greatest hits of poems from before".

We will tell you what the inspiration poems are so you can head off and find them.

Then you can go off to play 'spot the difference', choose to read more poetry and then parody them as a way to learn how to write more poetry for yourself.

Then when you feel the confidence to, you can write your own poetry for the world to see. Who knows your poetry may inspire more poetry. That in itself would be a wonderfully generous way to pass the creative batton.
