Alan Mercier was not a murderer. The problem was that it's tough to believe that when everyone else trawling for space junk was, and one happens to return from a mission in a dead man's ship.

An even bigger challenge is finding actual money amongst all the empty fuel stages, radioisotope thermoelectric generators, dogs, monkeys - you name it - that has been chucked into orbit in the last century.

Eventually Alan Mercier has to take on a much more lucrative - and dangerous contract.

That makes it even more difficult to clear his name.
