One recluse millionaire. One murder... so far.

Life between cases is downright boring for blind PI Steve Smiley. When an insurance investigator asks for his help in locating a missing millionaire, the seasoned detective doesn't hesitate to join the hunt.

After following a trail of multiple passports that turned cold, Smiley begins to agree with the investigator that the man faked his own death and is still alive. Suddenly the case heats up when a man's body is discovered in a burned-out truck. Dental records confirm it's the missing man. A bullet in his back confirms he was murdered.

As Smiley delves into the millionaire's life, a gunshot narrowly misses the man's widow. With her life on the line, Smiley is determined to stop the killer before he tries again. This is one game he refuses to lose.
