Twelve-year-old Sakar faced many challenges. He lost his father to violence and had an angry mother who struggled to raise two young sons. Sakar wanted to make a better life for himself but didn’t know how. Although he had a zeal to overcome the daily struggles he faced, he experienced constant negativity around him. Besides his mother’s daily negative banter, he had his own internal battles.Sakar wondered if life was worth living. Why try, he thought. One day, he found a mysterious and magical radio. After figuring out how it worked, he learned that his mind and attitude were the biggest battles he had to confront. Sakar began a new journey after he discovered the truth that the battle in the mind influences the heart. What I Speak, I see! is Sakar’s quest to discover what he wanted out of life and how he was going to get it.
