John King’s The Breeding of Contempt: New accounts of old crimes

The Breeding of Contempt describes two tragic incidents in U.S. History, the first occurred in 1973 with the massacre of seven people, including five children. The second, the 1977 siege of three Washington, D.C. buildings, resulting in over 100 hostages, many injured and one dead.
