A Date With Dad: The Adventures of Poa Presents

POA is an energetic and ambitious five year-old girl with the world at her feet. Through the power of imagination, she encounters new worlds in which she enthusiastically takes the driver’s seat as a fearless superhero. The POA book series, which is written by debut author LaToyia Jones, provides a glimpse into the countless possibilities young minds can experience through adventurous exploration. In the series’ first book, Date with Dad, POA imagines the exciting details of an upcoming date with her father.

POA’s character was inspired by LaToyia’s real-life event, the annual Him & ME dance, an event designed to bring fathers and daughters together and strengthen their relationship. In Date With Dad, POA uses her superhero powers to attempt to predict the details of her upcoming date with her father. Little does she know that she’s in for a memorable evening providing the reader with the opportunity to spend more time and connect with their little girls. The project name is Adventures of POA.
