Does your life feel empty? Is there a space nothing seems to fill? Bethany Goethe started writing poetry over twenty years ago to fill a void and find her way to a path of healing. The creativity of writing and putting words on a page became a process of looking within to experience God’s healing and love. Once she began to write, she couldn’t stop! Bethany emerged a stronger person centered in the fullness of Christ.
Words of poetry, prayers, and laughter just kept flowing, healing her soul. The void she once experienced became a blessing in disguise. It is her desire to share this piece of her soul with you in hopes that you will experience your own personal path to healing.
Reflections by Bethany is a collection of poems that encompass her poetry, prayers to God, love for her family, and silly random thoughts that make her laugh. Laugh, cry, and heal along with Bethany as you read this beautiful book of poetry.
When she was young, Bethany L. Goethe had a dream she would later understand as her calling; to tell people about the Lord. Bethany found that when God calls us to ministry, sometimes it’s to minister in our own little corner of the world. Now she ministers through her poetry. Though she is an ordinary woman living an ordinary life, her relationship with Christ has made her amazingly joyful. She has been happily married to her husband Brian Goethe for 40 years. They have two grown children and three wonderful grandchildren. She has a degree in Elementary Education and Language Arts but is now semi-retired. She enjoys spending time babysitting her grandchildren and writing poetry. Her purpose is to bring joy and blessings to all of her readers.
