Cara is driven by a set of life goals she is determined to achieve, but her spirited and impulsive younger brother, Liam, often disrupts her progress. His reckless behavior can be both exasperating and, at times, perilous. Nevertheless, Cara always comes to his rescue.

Since their mother's passing, Cara and Liam have been living with their grandmother while their father is stationed on a ship in the Middle East. To their delight, he surprises the family with a vacation to Egypt.

During their flight, they have a serendipitous encounter with their idol, the famous Bill Bates, and his son, Ben. This unanticipated meeting leads Cara and Liam to embark on an exhilarating adventure with the Bates family through an ancient tomb. Still, Liam's usual adventurous spirit causes a cave-in on top of Cara, Liam, and Ben.
