Are prophets necessary since we now have the Holy Spirit? The answer is simple. Yes! Prophets are the church’s compass that directs it to the next point of walking in the Lord’s spirit and not the flesh. The adversary is after the prophets to shut the mouth of God in the earth. There is a war in the spirit realm between God’s ambassadors (us) and satan; for that reason, we will always have to fight to defeat the flesh and its desires. God has become grieved with the current state of His Church. He is calling the prophets to arise and awaken His people out of complacency.
