I am not an expert in all topics - I don’t even consider myself an expert in ANY topic. For any expert in a topic, there is usually an even greater expert in that topic. Thus, although I have researched to the best of my time and abilities - I do not claim to be right in my presentations. These are my thoughts, as expressed in my blogs over an eleven-year period - from 2007 through 2017. I was born as the son of a waitress and a roughneck (a roughneck is actually someone who does the dirty work on oil rigs) in a small rural town in Kansas. I moved between different towns in Kansas and ended up graduating from high school in Lewiston, Idaho. Always curious about just about everything, my initial majors in college were in electrical engineering, math, and French. My last degree was a Master’s in Computer Science. I started work as a programmer with the Agricultural Department at Kansas State University but my first full-time job was with Bell Laboratories in Westminster, Colorado. Later, a friend and I started a company as a virtual corporation – everyone working SOHO – where I was the VP of Engineering (of a small company). Presently, I work as a Programming Manager for a very large networking/security company. These blogs started off (as the first journal entry details) as a technological speaking journal (technoglot) - explain daily technology to those who haven’t been trained in such areas. As time passed, the topics have tended to vary more - with a definite leaning towards economic aspects since much of our worldview tends to be molded by economic structure. If you prefer to not buy this, you can read the original blog posts directly at https: //technoglot.blogspot.comI hope that these are of interest to you and arouse a desire to talk among your friends and continue to do research on the areas I have mentioned.
