I’m Vianne Vanator and I’m an alcoholic. And, apparently, a vampire hunter.

Turns out I’m the descendant of a famous female vampire hunter. However, without a magical necklace, I don’t have the same abilities my ancestor did to annihilate bloodsuckers and other supernatural beings that go bump in the night.

The problem is, I didn’t know any of this until vampires tried to kill me, a vampire hunter saved me from them only to then kidnap me, and I accidentally made a deal with a hellhound.

Not exactly the day I expected when I went to work this morning.

If I want to continue having a pulse, I need to stay one step ahead of the vampires and beat them to finding the Artemis Necklace. Luckily, I’m being helped by a pushy hellhound (who might also be okay with ripping me to shreds) and a veteran vampire hunter (who, ahem, kidnapped me).

Suck It follows Vianne as she learns about her family’s history as vampire hunters, comes to terms with a world full of supernatural creatures, and discovers that many of those creatures want nothing better than to see her dead.
