The magical kingdom of Majadon is rich with gold and other gems, and things are peaceful now, thanks to the good king and queen’s vigilant army and fleet of flying dragons.

One day, a donkey arrives for nine-year-old Anya Tamarkin, a gift from the king for alerting him to danger. Her dream has come true! Now she and her friend Max can dig for treasure farther away, with a donkey along. Where will they go? What will they find?

About the Author

Deborah Thomas authored children’s songs and poetry during her teaching career. Writing the Anya of Majadon episodes is a dream come true. Anya’s Remarkable Donkey is the second in the series and her third work. Her historical novel for adults, A Western Rose, was published this year. A 1970 graduate of the University of Arizona, she taught elementary school almost thirty years. She’s the mother of two pair of loving daughters and stepdaughters and a happy grandma to twelve grandchildren.
