When teenager Julia Baird turns up dead in a field of poppies, the Rockwellian town that once left doors unlocked and let smiles run free shifts to a prison of mistrust. Fourteen-year-old Shay Burke soon discovers she knows the killer intimately. She realizes she must bust out, face her own demons, and catch him before he strikes again. Time is a distorted lens. Sometimes we think we remember what happened. Other times, we can’t remember anything at all.
