Mulligan returns to run for public office–
dog catcher
The second book in the Mulligan/Poodlums series features Mulligan, the chili-eating tomcat, in an election. All the
characters on Sassafras Lane return: Mr. and Mrs. Casey and the poodle puppies, Katie and Bogey. A new character
is Loophole the dogcatcher, a burly bulldog, who creates a situation that can only be remedied with a showdown at the
election booth. And Mulligan is the cat for the job.
