From Sarria to Santiago: A 10-Day Camino With Family and Friends follows John as he embarks on an unforgettable 115-kilometer pilgrimage across northern Spain with two families including three teenagers. He quickly learns that everyone walks the Camino in their own way. While planning their epic journey, he must accommodate the parents' concerns such as: "We have private bathrooms, right?", "You know I can't walk more than 12km a day," and "Can someone else carry my stuff?"

Then he must manage the teenager issues like: "Why is there a fly in my room?", "Is that a blister?", "Why do I have to wake up?", "What rain?" "Can we have pizza again?"

John invites his readers to experience his joys and challenges, successes and insights, as he walks the Camino and shares stories told by his fellow pilgrims about what inspired them to make their own incredible journeys to Santiago de Compostela.
